I leased Stormy for a few months and was considering buying him. While he was
part of the family he was Dakota's horse to take care of. He was a wonderful
horse and perfect for Dakota. They got a long great. When I moved to San Diego I
decided not to purchase Stormy and ended the lease.
Stormy, Dakota and Pearl
Dakota used to really look forward to going to the barn after we got Stormy
and would always ask as soon as we got there if he could go get Stormy. It was a
great learning experience for him and he would go get the halter and put it on
all by himself, bring Stormy out and start grooming him. We spent some great
times out on the trail together with our horses.
