Hi, my name is My Impressive Natasua but my mommy, daddy and everyone else call me Pearl, I'm a registered Quarter horse and I was born in April of 1987, I'm dark bay colored, I love grain, apples, carrots and watermelon. I'm really good with kids and am very even tempered. These are pictures of me, my family and friends. I hope you enjoy my pages.

Dakota is my daddy's youngest son and Daphne is daddy's friend Patrick's daughter. There are others I don't know the names to who are friends of either mommy or daddy.

Most of the pictures were taken by my daddy David or my mommy Erin. They both love me very much.

This is where I'll tell my story from the begining as I remember it.

How my daddy remembers it

Wow! I can't believe it's been a whole year since I last updated this page. Time sure flies! This past year has been really, really interesting. Daddy moved me and Splashy to some stalls closer to Blue, Rainy and Sugar and Splashy got moved a couple of times. At one point she was in a stall on one side of me then they put her in a stall on the other side of me and now she's in a stall across the way and about 3 stalls down. She seems happy though and she should be her current stall is like twice the size of mine. Now I have Rainy on one side and Sugar on the other. They've turned out to be alright. I like being around them and going to trail rides with them.

Daddy bought a new horse trailer this year and we've gotten to go to some really neat places with running creeks and the ocean and a lake and all over the place. This sure beats the hills and such around my old home.

We had to evacuate for the fires for a bout a week and the stalls we had to stay in were super tiny. They weren't even half the size of ours! Thankfully it was only a week! I'm glad to be home.

I hurt my leg on a trail ride a month or so ago and it hasn't been the same since. Daddy and mommy took a look at it tonight and decided I need some medicine until they can get the vet out to look at it. I hope it's nothing serious because I really miss the trail rides.

Daddy also bought a new horse which sure didn't make me happy! Her name is Lovely and she seems like a nice horse. She out ran me one day on the trail when daddy and mommy took us out for a ride. Mommy rode me and I could barely keep up with her when daddy and her took off. Man she's fast! Daddy's been spending a lot of time with her because of my sore leg and I'm a bit jealous. Sadly she stepped on a sharp piece of metal a few weeks ago and hasn't been able to get out either. I know daddy has been really sad that both of us haven't been able to go out on rides with him lately and I want fix that.

Mommy and daddy were also given a pair of Welsh ponies recently that are so cute! They're Annie and Belle and boy do they have attitudes! Mommy seems to be very happy to have them.

Well time for me to finish my dinner and get some sleep. I'll try to update this thing more often. Night!

Well yesterday daddy moved Splashy and me from San Dimas to Poway. I really like my new stall, it's HUGE! The trip down was fun, I got to see some interesting sites on the way and the air is sure cleaner here. Splashy was a bit of a pain but we got to know each other quite well. She's a little snot if you ask me. She behaved herself most of the way down but then she started acting up and got her leg stuck across the divider bar that was between us and that just made her worse. She kicked and bucked and made all kinds of noise. She even put dents in the side of the trailer we were riding in. Dumb Thoroughbred! I think it really scared her when it happened too. When we finally stopped at our new home and daddy got her out she ran out of the trailer like her tail was on fire! Sheesh! She had more room then me on the trip and still wasn't happy, I swear daddy spoiled her too much and she acts like it! Anyway, she managed to cut her leg in the process and daddy and mommy had to give her some medicine to make it better. She's a cranky old mare! I think she'll be ok thou she walked a little stiff and limped some the rest of the day.

Also today daddy and I went out on a nice trial ride but it sure was a lot of work. There were a lot of hills daddy made me climb but the scenery was really neat. We found a lot of places where we can just wander around and look at things.
Splashy got worried when dad and I went out and started making all kinds of noise, I think she was afraid we were going to leave her or something. She sure seems attached to me for some reason now. It is nice being next to her so we can talk when daddy's not here to talk to or play with. I don't know if I'd want to play with her though. I think she'd cheat and be mean. Anyway, daddy and I were gone for a couple hours out on the trail and thou I was a little nervous because of the new area daddy took care of me and we had fun. I got to run a little and daddy gave me a bath afterwards. I go to meet Sugar, Rainy and Blue today too. Sugar's an aweful lot like Splashy only more rude! She keeps trying to prove something and stomping at me. Oh well she'll learn one of these days. I like Rainy and Blue, they're quite and kinda cute. Blue sure is big thou!

Daddy also took me out on a ride with Blue and mommy this afternoon for a little. Blue kept sticking his nose up my butt! I really wish he wouldn't do that. He walks funny too!

Well I should go, feed's here and I'm a bit tired from all the work today.

Daddy told me last night that Stormy will not be moving to our new home. That is sad. I'm going to miss him. The good news is he also told me that we are moving this Saturday after Thanksgiving. That is way cool! I can't wait to see my new sisters and brother. Daddy talks about them a lot.

Daddy helped put a temporary shoe on to replace the one I threw yesterday and then we went out with Stormy and a friend of daddys for a long trail ride. It was fun but I got a little nervous when we were out around the houses and cars. A lot of little things scared me. Daddy was happy with me though and gave me a nice bath when we got back. Daddy also brought Splashy out with Stormy and I in the morning and we took some family photos. Splashy was sure interested in Stormy. I think she likes him or some thing. I hope we all get to spend more time together. I think Splashy likes to play to much though. She sure didn't want to stand still for the photos and kept trying to sniff Stormy.

Daddy took me out on a trail ride today with some of his friends, Stormy and my friend Stormy the paint. He's funny looking I think. I managed to throw a shoe running around the big rodeo arena. Dang it!
